I really like Pepsi Next

The latest addition to the Pepsi line here in Australia is Pepsi Next – it was accompanied with an amusing advert (designed to be shared socially) and very little else I could see – a far cry from the Cola Wars of the 80′s.

It’s the place this cola takes in the taste versus / sugar SWOT analysis that makes it interesting – the market is saturated with full strength (massive sugar) and poor tasting zero sugar products using artificial sweeteners. Using a natural sweetener to place it in the sector in the middle is a great move. Stand by for Coke’s answer…
